I do not understand something.
Hi guys! I wrote an article in a notebook a couple of days ago, then the native fixed it, I really liked the fix. I postponed copying the answer for today. Unfortunately, today the corrections to my article are no longer in the notebook. How could this happen?

There could be several reasons. Not only could the corrector have decided to leave italki like Adrian suggested but he/she could also have been blocked. In this case the correction disappears. If the corrector gets unblocked, the correction reappears again. This happened to me several times. I did thousand corrections on italki and whenever I was blocked (maybe a dozen times) all my corrections were invisible. You could check out the profile of the corrector to see if his/her posts are still visible. If all posts are visible apart from the correction for you, then it could also be that the corrector delibartely deleted it. There are some correctors who delete their corrections if they do not get acknowledged in a certain time frame.

When someone leaves Italki 'officially' by 'resigning' their membership [as opposed to just no longer taking part] their contributions disappear. This can then leave 'holes' or gaps in the record, and the number of comments or corrections on or to a post do not match the actual number seen. Perhaps this is what has happened to your notebook entry.

I also sometimes postpone thanking a corrector because I want to look at the correction first and maybe ask questions but there are correctors who really get upset if you don't thank them within the day. If they see that you were online but didn't thank you, they might delete it. I think only a few correctors react like this but they do exist. Best is to quickly upvote the correction and just write "thanks" or "thank you very much" to be on the safe side and then you can look at the correction in detail later.
The italki points that you receive for correcting notebook entries, answering questions, posting discussions etc. are only an indicator for your activity. Users who help other a lot tend to have a high number of points. But they don't receive anything in return by italki. You can't turn the points into credit.
