What was your favorite toy from your childhood?
Tell me all about the childhood toy you loved the most!

My favorite childhood toy (that I still have) was Teddy Ruxpin. Teddy Ruxpin was a teddy bear that could read books and sing. It came out in the mid 1980's. You would put a cassette tape in his back and then he'd move his mouth and open and close his eyes. I got a Teddy Ruxpin the first year it was in stores. I have vague memories of listening to Teddy Ruxpin in the back of my moms van on long car rides and falling asleep to his music while holding him. I still have my Teddy Ruxpin. Sadly his eyes don't move anymore. Here's a commercial for the bear Teddy Ruxpin also had a cartoon show on tv. There was also a lunchbox and thermos set that I had. A sleeping bag. Bed sheets and pillow case set that I had. Plus other little toy figures.

Depends on how far back you go, and how you define toy. :)

When I was very little I had taken possession of one of my fathers flannel singlets. I had that as a "toy" for many years, it had a name and served many purposes (almost like Linus' blanket in the Peanuts).

As a toy proper my favourite was a bucket of Lego.

I had a rubber doll, a cute little boy in sitting posture. I used to call him "nephew", so my sister took him with her when she got married. I also had a green plastic elephant who had lost his ears and several clockwork toys. Battery operated or remote controlled stuff wasn't available when I was a kid.

I guess with all the negative 1's and zeros that this topic question was not a good idea.
