Phrases to give you thinking time Э-э-э-э , ну-у-у

  • That’s a very interesting question. Let me think about it for a minute.
  •          Actually, I’ve thought about it before, and here are my thoughts on the matter.
  •          I’m glad you have asked that question. This is what we know about that.
  •          A good question. We still have a lot of research to do.
  •          Where should I start?
  •          Yeah, this is definitely something to think about.
  •          I’m afraid I don’t know enough about it.
  •          As I said earlier, …
  •          I think I answered that when I said that …
  •          I did mention that earlier. I said that …
  •          There is a variety of different things I could say…
  •          Wow. That’s a tough question to answer.
  •          I need a couple of seconds to think about that.
  •          I am not quite sure what to say here but…
  •        I am not sure I see the connection to what we are talking about. That seems to me to be a completely different issue.
  •          I’m sorry, I don’t follow you. What exactly do you mean?

Я обычно использую “well”, “you know”, “so”, “I mean”, “you see”.
