Has anyone ever written a novel in their native language? How about in another language you learned? Do you think it's possible to write a novel in another language that is not your first language without the experience of writing a novel at all? I'm an English teacher by profession and have thought about writing a novel in English, though English is not my first language, Russian is, however, I feel that English is way easier for me than Russian. I'm now also considering trying to write something in Spanish as well, maybe not a novel, but something like a compilation of multiple short stories. Does anyone have any experience in that? Anyone willing to help me?
