What books did you have to read in school ?
When I was in school there were some prescribed books that we had to read for English .There was Animal Farm, The Great Gatsby and To kill a mockingbird. I loved all three but definitely To kill a mockingbird was my favourite . Only when I was older and read the book again was I able to unpack one of the main themes in the book Racism. What books did you read in school ? Did you fully understand the content and context of the book in school? It can be for any subject not just English .

In Russia all the students must read great book and authors such as «Crime and Punishment» by Fyodor Dostoevsky, "War and Peace" by Lev Tolstoy etc. I think some people would not understand these books even after school 😂
