How do you learn French
Hi guys
I really like the French language and I have started learning it and I'm looking for some good resources.
What resources do you use in learning French?
Do you know any useful websites about this topic?
How should a beginner French learner, learn this language?

Hey Meysam,

French is well documented on Google and I'm sure you can find a lot of ressources, in English or in your mother tongue. Grammar lessons, vocabulary lists... everything you need with good explanations.

Though, I do recommend you to check these channels :
These 2 channels are targeted to French learners. They have playlists divided by level. They are fully in French but you can add subtitles, and the speakers have a very clear prononciation to help students understand flawlessly what is said.

Also, I have an additional advice :
Learning a language is a lot about vocabulary. So make sure you learn a lot ! I personally use and recommend using flashcards, but not everybody likes them.

Good luck

@Joanna that's an excellent tip. Thanks.

I sometimes like to write poetry in target language. I think it's an ultimate achievement for me to be able to write poetry in my target language.

Hi Meysam,

I started to learn French seriously a month ago and I see a huge progress, so I can tell you what I've been doing. I have almost every day a language exchange with French native speaker and I read French short texts loud, then we translate them together. I try to construct short sentences with words I already know. I also tried a new method: after knowing a French text well, I read it loud in my native language and record it, and after that I try to listen my recording and write down a French version. I see that's really good for me to memorise how to write words. Sometimes it's only 15 minutes per day, but it's better than nothing! I try to find new methods not to get bored :) Good luck!
