May I correct your sentence? Either:

<em>What would you do if you were a man?</em> (without comma)

<em>If you were a man, what would you do? </em>(with comma)

I wouldn't do anything differently; me being a lass might have a beneficial effect on the behaviours of the guys in my team at work - they're a proper "boys club", immature and unprofessional.

Not sure how I'd feel about menstruation ... mind you, I'm probably too old for that, anyway ;D
