ITALIAN LEARNERS: What is the best sounding Italian word in your opinion?
This question's for those who learnt or are currently learning Italian. As a native speaker of this language I often get to hear that Italian sound like a song to those who are not native speakers. For you, what is a specific Italian word or phrase which just activates and expresses this sense of musicality in your head? Why do you think Italian is considered to be musical and romantic? Is it its prosody? Is it the richness of vowels?

There are lots of words I really like. I can't pick just one. Some words sound really beautiful even if their meaning is quite ordinary.

I'll give some examples of words I like:

lontano

sogno, sognare

con

senza

mattina

arrivare

... and many more.

I think that the language sounds musical because almost every word ends in a vowel.
