When I see videos like the one you describe, I sigh, stop watching, and decide the teacher isn't for me.
That was true even when I was a beginner in Spanish. It's true in other languages.
Beginner or not, I want to hear the language as it is spoken at its normal pace and rhythm with natural fluctuations in volume. I find it unnatural and unhelpful when a teacher speaks extremely slowly and loudly. That's not going to help me understand a film or conversation. The more one depends on this highly unnatural, modified speech, the easier it is to convince yourself you master those phrases (you don't if it's not at a natural pace) and the harder it is to understand the language as it is spoken even in simple conversations. I want to know where I stand from the start.
Perhaps some people agree with you, but for those of us for want to work with the real language immediately or for the many people who use this platform who aren't beginners, I think these teachers are doing a great job and shouldn't change a thing.
