Hidden Gems of Iran
Hi fellow language learners and travellers!

Next year I'm probably going to Iran for holiday and I was just curious whether several of you could suggest any interesting places to visit. With interesting places I don't mean the more well-known touristic places like Esfahan, Shiraz, Persepolis, etc. I'm really looking for like the 'hidden gems' of Iran.

I haven't been to Iran but also would like to go there one day. So, I can't give you tips yet but there are some articles about hidden gems:

Iran is indeed a beautiful country and if I ever had a chance to visit and it was autumn,
I would go to <em>Saveh</em> to attend the pomegranate festival and eat as much pomegranate
as I want :D

@Miriam: I checked out those sites and I really could find some usefull tips there, thanks!
@Sajjad: That's a good idea to go to Gilan province in the search for good food. I've already tried Iranian food many times before and most of the dishes that I really like indeed happen to originate from Gilan province!
@Majid: I looked up some pictures of Tange Reghez in Google and it looks wonderfull, mersi!
@Mumtaz: That sounds like a really great and unforgettable experience! I will probably go there in the summer so no pomegranate for me this time, but I will definitely keep it in mind when I go another time!

Hi!
I live in Esfahan .If you wanna visit another city and area,I suggest you north of Iran.There are many delicious foods ,specially in Gilan province.There are beautiful villages and jungles.
If you are planing your journey in winter,south of Iran is a good choice to trip. Chabahar has a good beach and the weather is fantastic in winter there...not summer.
