The age of insults
Have you ever been insulted by anyone online(social media, such as Twitter, Ins, Facebook, weibo and so on)?
We could find that there are a number of abusive language on the internet. However, many people understand that insults make news and profit from it. Insults will set the Online tone, they stick in the mind and frighten opponents into silence. Lots of common insults are meaningless and off-target. The practice of language violence always bring many negative affect. They may say: " Don't you bear that I call you a fool, you snowflake." Or kidding you, then they apologize that don't be a snowflake. When people face insults, they will choose shut up or fight back. Different choice lead to different results.

But what will you do when you face insults?
Yep, insults will freak you out and lost your mind, then you may let loose a torrent of abuse. However, others may keep clam and speak sensibly to defeat them. Fight back need to lots of energy and patience, then keep silent can yet be regarded as a good choice. Nevertheless, keep silent may let them believe you agree their opinions or accept their insults. It will encourage them to use more language violence, or make them worse.

That's very common nowadays. People believe to have the rights to insult others don't matter how their insults can affect others.
I think governments in the world don't control that enough. That's why people feel free to insult people who don't like. It's normal that you disagree with someone, but it isn't correct to disrespect another because of that.
Those people are cowards, it is easy to insult behind the screen of a computer or smartphone. I bet they wouldn't dare to do it face to face.

What if the politician insults to make some noise and profit from insults? 🤔 Insults not only frighten people to keep them silent, but attracts a lot of followers. Because insults others may make the followers believe the leader is very powerful.(In fact, I don't believe it. But I guess this situation)
"Those people are cowards, it is easy to insult behind the screen of a computer or smartphone. I bet they wouldn't dare to do it face to face. " I totally agree with you, but I think maybe it make them feel safe behind the computer to insult others, and think they could be irresponsible for their language violence.
