depends on the countries. to norway, they arent happy to join because even joining, the only thing they would do is giving money to it...pros and cons, so other countries might get money so they want to join in. but politically, only the rising EU can balance america...perhaps someday it would be called the united states of europe, and italy would be state of italy. so be happy!

I'm against, even though the economic prospects are good. The thing I don't agree with is the political system behind it. The European government is not chosen by the people and is therefore not representative. Another thing is that we can't trust the European leaders. There were several referenda in Europe and France and the Netherlands voted No. They just dismissed our vote and renamed it to something else. Then they said it was something else and didn't ask for our vote. The only country that had a referendum was Ireland and they got a No there as well. It's not yet clear what will happen, but my guess is that they will just ignore the will of the people again.
