How Are Colors Interpreted in Different Cultures? As I learned Spanish (I'm a native English speaker), I found it very fun and interesting to realize that the colors I'd always associated with certain emotions (and which are deeply ingrained in me) could mean something different in Spanish. So I thought it would be fun to discuss what colors represent your emotions...

In English:

In Spanish:
amarillo=envidia (yellow=envy)
rojo=ira/amor (red=anger/love)
azul=salud/tranquilidad (blue=health/tranquility)

So, which colors represent which emotions in your language/culture?
