Should visitors to other countries follow local customs & behaviour?

I agree with João , we are free to visit this or the other country . So, we should know the local customs of the country we're goin' to visit before we go there ( maybe they do things that are in contradiction with your convinctions ), to avoid being annoyed and in the worst of cases Regret the journey .
And i almost agree with harre in his second point : We are free to live where we feel free to do what we want , So live in a country and do things that will harm its own poeple .but we aren't obliged to do excactly what they do .

Tourists: Not really. But at least behave yourself.
Foreigners who stay for a long time: Yes. Definitely change to local customs and behaviour.
