Hi,

I teach IELTS and ESL/EFL. Yes, IELTS has a speaking component that lasts for about 11min - 15min.

If you need practice or would like an evaluation, I can help!

I have done this test before. Its kinda difficult as I take it under my university. Usually the topic that will be given to the candidates is about the current issue but in a general form such as about environment, education, health, financial, and so on. You need to dicsuss the topic with your group members. Before that, you'll be given about 2-3 minutes to elaborate from your point of view (without discussing with anyone) then, the examiner will ask you to discuss the topic that you have and you will have about 10-15 minutes (depend on the number of people in that group). Do not be panic as it will disturb your speaking skill. I hope this explanation will help you. =) * sorry if my english is bad =/
