I wrote this topic just because recently I've chat with my friends.(Chinese and European) And I found we have different  aesthetic views  about  some movie stars or Cartoon characters .

Interesting question! We should define "aesthetic view" a little bit first. Let me say it refers to the things a person considers praiseworthy, lovely, or pleasing. People with different aesthetic views both looking at the same object might disagree on whether the object is beautiful.

Next we should define East and West. Since this is a Chinese-English group, maybe we can narrow our focus to Chinese-speaking and English-speaking countries.

So... If you are still reading ;-), I will say: There are two levels to consider when talking about differences between cultures. One is the human level in which we can safely say "babies are cute", or "flowers are pretty". Then there is the cultural level in which we find big differences in the things that people find pleasing.
