Let's Play A Time Honoured Game...

One word posts are easy.  To make it harder, let's do poems instead.  Here are some suggestions.

1.  You start off with a poem of at most 4 lines.  This is to prevent someone from writing an epic.

2.  Your poem must include a reference number.  It is best to have a chronological and continuous number from the beginning.

3.  Your poem should reflect on a similar or directly opposite in tone or meaning to a previous one.  Use the poem reference number in which you are referencing to.  You may use the first or the first two lines of someone's poem as your starting point.  You may even use the same imagery or words from the first two lines as well.

4.  Your poem can be in any language BUT YOU MUST PROVIDE an English translation.  Not everyone can read your native script!  Don't worry if your English translation is good or not.

I am not going to start off this time.  I hope you will.  Please start the reference number from 1 :)

Great poem... some minor errors...

Making and breaking rules of for these Games,

All we are hunters and all we are preys...

The undeniable fact - we are bound to die.

Does it all mean that we should never try?

#9 Some minor errors,

One The day we were are born, a day we are bound to die...

We live in between among hatred and love.

We play the same Games, striving to win,

The Finishing line has been once more removed once again....

Use present tense when we write about facts.  In my opinion, you capitalized "game" to refer metaphorically a particular game we play, so its finishing line should also be capitalized for emphasis.

To an extent, this is true that we are all engineers of our lives.  However real engineers are the ones who can see and seize the opportunities to embetter the lives of others.

#8  Some very minor stuff...

Use "tension" instead of "tensions".

And Heaven, is for at least there's some reward...

Great participation.
