Be what you like to be...just make sure that you will be the star in your movie :)

Well I assume that teaching is more difficult than translating. I mean when translating there's only language and you, but when teaching there are students who expect you to give them knowledge, some of them are more motivated some are less and some are not motivated at all, and your task is to be a ponductor like at a concert and to conduct this orchestra, to spend nights preparing for the lessons. But if you teach well you will be rewarded and it's always a pleasure to see people making progress thanks to YOU... although it's  really hard work...

i think it's depens on you and your intersts...

and it depends on what you expect of a job and how you want to work...

you like to work with people or you prefer to be by your own translate ...

well, I think that you cannot compare these two, because they're totally different, though the base is a good knowledge of source and target language.
