I believe in destiny. Additionally, we can modufy it.

Why not. If you see about destiny you can look marriages and deaths. Marriages and deaths show us in destiny clearly. Because, everybody can marry ones who don't think before and everybody can not marry ones who is a long term friend. Deaths are more clear to understand in destiny. Because nobody knows when they will die. We can see ones who should die but they are alive, and ones who should live but they die in some car accidents or in some natural disasters. These are some object lessons about existence of destiny.

Allah is the creator of all things, including our actions.
And Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has stated:
Allah wrote down the decrees of creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth.”
and _ No calamity befalls on the earth or in yourselves but it is inscribed in the Book of Decrees (Al Lawh Al Mahfooz) before We bring it into existence. Verily, that is easy for Allah.”
From these two statements, we understand that Allah has written all things in a Book of Decrees known in Arabic as Al-Lawh Al-Mahfooz, and that this was done 50000 years before He created the heavens and earth.
This only means that Allah is already well aware of all actions that we will take, and the outcome of those actions.
