Hi ,friends,here is echo (yuridia)from China .I am a studnet who is very intrested in religion though myself is an athesit ,and i know nothing about religion ,however i have the desire to learn more about it .I have many friends who have a religion .I still remenmber when i ask my friends about her religion at the first time ,i was deeply impressed with her answer that 'i am a ...,and i am proud to be' .I can feel her strong pride of her religion.
But born as a chinese ,we were taught to believe the science and the truth and believe in yourself for no one could help you out in some situations .So i don't know the feeling of believing something ,but in fact ,many chinese seems believe in Buddhism and we have the temples for some special days to pray .I think there in no nation has no ties with religion ,just depend on the degree.
I sincerely respect every one's religion though sometimes my words may hurt someone ,for i often using' haha' to express my gratitude and happy ,but some friends may think it isn't serious in such a sacred topic ,so here i apologize to her.But in the bottom of my heart,i do think we should have no prejudice ,no matter you are athesit or religious people .Morever ,we all have one mutual mom that is our earth .As for religion,i just hope we can stop the disaters from happening .All religion should be the same ,no superior one or worse one .
Last , i have some questions ,what is religion in your eyes ,what is the benifit of having a religion and what is the meaning of religion?(hope you don't think my questions are rude)

yup ,i cannot agree more ,i think your culture is similiar to ours ,and we do think we need a certain kind of faith

haha ,why do you think i am believe in one god?ok ,i admit that i want to try to have a religion ,but it is a little hard for me now ,

I believe everybody needs some kind of faith, or spirituality to live life, some people follow a religion, and others don't. These are both stances on faith in a way, I think.

My culture (Japanese) has traditionally been influenced by Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism and Shinto. They don't collide each other and we have a rather eclectic mixture of beliefs. Many people are "part-time" believers, which means they belive in everything and don't belive in just one particular god, or the creater, or the law or whatever you want to call it. What I think about religions is, if you are a good believer, the kind of religion does not matter. I consider myself an atheist, but I have many religious figures I respect regardless of their beliefs. Shallow, fake believers have this narrow-mindedness to descriminate others and violently pursue their agenda.  Whatever your faith is (including atheism) , it's supposed to serve for people's happiness and peace.

I think you believe in one God, now. Makdis57 expained proofs of existence of One God very well  as  spending a good effort in sincerity. Now it is the time ur being sincere.

Many people return from this border. They feel afraid and choose mocking to deceive theirselves for feeling relax.
