Without love of yourself...
(when I say 'yourself' I do not point at 'you' - in English you can use 'you' and 'yourself' to refer to everyone when making a general point)...
... can you love anyone or anything else. And without that, what is there to see, to live for? It is good to think of love as a power within you, not a falling outside yourself to someone else. It should strengthen your personal identity, not reduce your life. A good love gives power and confidence, allows risk (new ideas, new visions, new initiatives), enthusiasm and creativity.
