why not talking about some topics to improve our english in this group, we always can see the topics of how to imprve english and other similar topics, but nobody take real steps to push us improve. I think talking about some themes is definitly a good way to practice. For example, we can talk about culture, travel or hobby and so on,
now let's talk about our first topic, owning to the mid-autumn festival coming, we can talk about the related culture and history stories on this festival. or what would you do during this vacation, go traveling or just stay at home with your family.

it is a tradional festival on lunar calenda 15th august. this year's Mid-Autumn Festival will be on 15th September. on this night, traditional chinese people will gather together eating moon cakes and enjoy the bright and round moon, it is chinese second biggest traditional festival with long long history back to Tang Dynasty. In the past, Chinese government did not take this day as national holiday, but now in order to remain the culture heritage, this day has been taken as a national day. During this day, in may cities, there will be some traditonal activites. But most improtant is to gather together with our family. It symbolizes the reunion. Most of chinese people pay great attention to this day. In addition, in other countries of Asia, this festival is still remained and will be celebrated at the same time, such as Korea.
