Chinese speakers

Hey... I'm Tom, from Brazil. I just started studying Mandarin last week. It's been a bit difficult for me to understand some cultural issues. Hope I could have Chinese friends, in order to exchange knowledge or to have someone to chat with just as a friend. I can speak Portuguese, which is my mother tongue. I speak fluent English, since I was very very young. And I can speak French as well.

Here's my MSN:  feel free to add me!

Hope hearing from you soon. And I will be glad to help in any case.

I think the best way for you to study Chinese is to go to China but if you don`t want to you can still study Chinese in your own country. Because Chinese is a new language to you, you may meet a lot of difficulties. Just keep going and never give up, please. My suggestion is no matter how difficult Chinese is, just studying step by step and all things would get better and better. Best wishes.
