what's your favourate topic when it refers to Chinese and Western culture?
I'm required to choose a topic for a research paper. I was thinking to choose "Different manner in restaurant between Chinese and Western". But this topic is quite common here, i want to choose an interesting topic. Now I'm quite confusing in choosing one because i know little about western culture. I want to know more about this kind of topics. Therefore, I'm wondering what kind of topics you are interested in when it refers to Chinese and Western culture.

In business co-operation, contrast the importance of personal relationships in China against the reliance on legal contracts in western countries.

How about the differences in dating norms. It is a usually a pretty casual thing here in America. My understanding is that in China it is considered a pretty serious step towards marriage.
