Are you afraid of your teacher?
Maybe you think it is a strange question.I answer first,I am a chinese student.we not only respect our teacher,but also a little afraid of our teacher.

Some students are scared of their teachers because they have the power to screw up grades.
Personally respect is something you should EARN with what you do, it's not something that is given automatically because of your age, job, financial status etc.
Teachers are humans too, not all of them are good or bad. They are not gods. They should be judged by how good they are as a teacher.
Nevertheless, common courtesy is necessary.
