i agree. friendship is nurtured by constant communication. no matter how far you are from each other, if you try to keep abreast with what is happening in your lives, friendship will grow.we need to be sincere with each other. friendship is the unveiling of oneself so that the other person sees you as you are, no pretense. your friend will see your good and bad sides. he will learn to appreciate your good side and help you get rid of your bad side. hence, true friendship leads you to become better. it is something every human being needs to reach perfection. we also need open-mindedness in friendship. we need to be understanding towards our friends and accept differences. there will be differences--in opinions, in lifestyles, in preferences--but that what makes friendship wonderful. that gives color and beauty to friendship. we cannot put our friends in a box to fit in our small world. affection nourishes friendship. no matter how intelligent our friend is, he needs affections to balance off everything. we also need it ourselves. we can only continue giving affection when we also receive affection. we can only give what we have.
I agree with you. I feel lucky because i still have many bestfriends that stick with me till the end. Treasure the friendship at most. God bless.
@ rubis: yes, and that is a sad reality we experience now. deep inside i hope things would go back "up" and people start acting as genuine persons who do not see themselves as centers of the world.
@ gemma can I have a word here? well it's because people are thinking materially and not human as our parents were in the past. technology had also bed effects on relationships between the humans. the human being is more selfliker or selfishness ( égoÏste in french); he doesn't think at all about the real life; only about study, work, little family- if he will?- and also about money and how could he make himself happier. he doesn't think about making someone else happy because he doesn't think that such thing could make him happy too. sorry for being so long a_a
@ Bajwa: Really? Why?
