What American TV shows are you aware of? Do you have access to watch American television in your country? If so, what is your favorite American TV show and why?

 

My favorite show is called Seinfeld. It is a comedy from the 1990s but Americans sometimes still talk about it in conversation.

Game of Thrones is a great show with great story and setting. But I kind of wonder why they speak British instead of American. I used to watch The Simpsons when it was aired on national TV channel. They used to air Supernatural, Smallville, Heroes as well.

In India " Small Wonder" was a super hit. You are correct. F.R.I.E.N.D.S is also the most watched sitcom in India. I watch/watched

1. Small Wonder

2. Mike and Molly

3. Desperate Housewives( though I dint like it much)

4. Sex and the City

5. Friends

6. TBBT(though I dont like it)

7. Ripleys Believe it or not( not a sitcom but I love watching it , the anchor is good)

8. Oprah Winfreys talk shows

9. CNN news

10. Movies/cds/dvds

 

Most of the Indian youngsters watch movies too in order to improve their Eng'Com skills. I watched Titanic movie 30 times and I ordered my cousin to bring what ever Marylin Manroe's movies he could find.  Also American pie , all the series- a very very big hit and popular among Indian youth these days.He is studying  in Arkansas State University. I am sorry for the Sandy storm . I love U.S.A.
