To be a paid member of well-known B2B website(such as Alibaba) is much more effective than the free B2B website.
As a buyer, Alibaba is great, but as a seller, you have to be there, but it is not so good, Because everyone can see not just you, but also all your competitors.
3) Domestic foreign exhibitions:
Exhibitions are slowly dying,the internet has replaced them, so a good web site is much more important.
Traditional ways of marketing:
1)Advertising in newspaper, magazine.
2)Look for telephone books on the internet, and collect names and addresses from them,then write letters to them, and include maybe a small catalog of your products.Don't use emails, it gets dumped in spam too easily. Use typed letter, It costs more to send, but much more likely to be read.Email might cost nothing, but you also get almost zero return.
Phone each customer first, asking for the owners name or the purchasing managers name, so you could personalise each letter.
