How did you acquire English speaking skills?

Really, there is no other way... As the guy above me said you can watch lots of stuff in English, if it's too hard use English subtitles, but it would be better if you didin't. Pay attention to the acent, choose one that's not hard for you... My English is american and the first tv show I used to improve speaking skills was Doctor Who. No need to say it didn't work and I didn't know why until I changed to True Blood.


PLus, you can read things in english for yourself, this way you'll get used to the idiom in your own voice and compare with natives. Chosse a book you like.

I got some skills from watching alot of English movies, news, songs ; without any translation if you didn't catch up words you can use English subtitles for it . And you can try to rehearse what they say in their accent .

Best options are voice chat with natives and take language course.
