Guys, what do you do when you are depressed? Give advice...

Make a list of what kind of person you want to be, of all the things you would want to do or that what brings you closer to this person you want to be. If you decide you can not do certain things, write down why not. Write down the worst case scenario and see if its really that bad. Might it still be a better place to be as the one youre in right now?
I do stuff like this when I'm a bit down. Or I go and do some sports! the best way to get out of a depression is to be active in my opinion.

for me the first and most potent medicine is: MUSIC!!! ^o^
listen and try to relate to the lyrics, most (good ones, at least, LoL) have deep wonderful meanings and it really helps if you sing along. singing allows your body to arrange all the breathing thingies, and that can make your body react better. even if you don't do it like a pro or something.
it's proven by research: your body position and way of breathing affects your mood.
stand/sit upright and breathe as best as you can.
don't think too much, but don't slouch or do it in a shallow/lazy way,
also don't eat too much or too little.
but of course, u can't just stop there!
the thing that really gets you off the grey zone, then into the sunshine-and-daisies, is love.
cheesy, but true.
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE WHO LOVES YOU or the next best thing: KIND PEOPLE WHO ARE CHEERFUL AND POSITIVE.
Happiness and optimism (much like cynicism and yes, depression) are extremely contagious. :)
