For romance huh?  I have been studying China and Chinese for years and years... and years.  When I stopped studying computers and mathematics I thought 'I cannot stop studying, have to study <em>something </em>a language?  Must be Japanese, Bahasa or Chinese then!  And so I chose Chinese, that was last millenium.  Since then I've been to China 5 times, and even if there hasn't been so much romance lately, there is always the romance of travel; mostly by train in China, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan.

Now I can get around very well by myself in China, and speak everyday Chinese quite well enough to be understood, and read it well enough to go anywhere and do anything.

I want to learn foreign language so that I dont need a subtitle translation when watching foreign movies or listening to foreign songs. Having a foreigner friends is a great experience too.

You mean for Romance, or for Passion? Romance is like a genre in literature x]

I personally want to learn other languages 'cause of the diversity and variety of cultures! It all seems so beautiful, even more if we can understand it in their own language! :)

I moved to South Korea and realized how important other languages are for the world. I can get by using english but not have an authentic experience unless I know the native language. 

There's so much more out there than just english and I want to experience it. I want to travel everywhere.
