The tragedy of King Lear by Shakespeare. I like it because it teaches many things and it is mainly about family relationships and the nature of human suffering. The king misjudgement of his daughters caused his downfall. When the youngest daughter wanted to marry for love rather than money, her father banished her..... She died at the end of the play.... The two elder ones never felt Lear as a father. they were wicked and dishonest and wanted to get the kingdom... the king realised this through one betrayal after another... he lost his younget daughter and lost his kingdom...
