I think of Zinedine Zidane "Zizou" of course, and nowadays I think of Karim Benzema and Samir Nasri, great footballers, even though they are 'exports' I guess. or born in France but proud Algerian heritage. Music wise I think of KHALED and RAI and his song "DIDI" which was heard in an Italian movie called Caro Diaro or Dear Diary. Other than that I don't hear much, mediterenean, French speaking, dessert, couscous, but couscous is also in marocco and tunisia, so not authentic Algerian. So, that is what I know. Alber CAMUS, the write was also born in Algeria.
