Hide your Baklavar! I am coming...:) Merhaba!
I will be in Istanbul from 21st December till first January.
My boyfriend and me will visit his parents.
I thought we maybe could do an Italki meeting?
Also, I will do some Turkish course soon. And maybe I could use my bits of Turkish to talk to someone.
(Well, I guess you shouldn't expect too much from it..:))
So who would be interested and where could it be done?

well said.  i guess i have to eat more baklava again when i come to turkey next time

eating technics are necessary for feeling  best taste from a slice :D (in here we started to talk about philosophy of baklava :P   )

jeanne, dont forget german chocalates for ur turkish family :D
chocalates became as a  legend here for many  years :P

evet i agree with chaylak and multani.. Karakoy  Gulluoglu is the best ive ever tasted!
i finished the whole box !!! hehehe..
it was given by a close friend of mine.. that how i start to love baklava..
i know Karakoy Gulluoglu is at Mumhane Cad and Katli otopark Alti..

to multani : really i didnt know there's a special techniques to eat baklava? how is that?

i know u cant understand its difference yet but  try " GÜLLÜOĞLU BAKLAVA " in karaköy

they do best baklava in istanbul
so famous, dont forget if u near to tophane or karaköy ;)

awww so kind of you..  tesekkur ederim burhan, appreciate yr kind gesture.

but i have to admit it is not the same...

it is not just the baklava that i missed, it is also the atmosphere in turkey that i missed
having to sit at my favourite turkish restaurant and enjoying baklavasssss(notice i put extra ssss ) with turkish tea after a nice sumptous dinner.... aaaahhh simply  cok guzel..
