Yeah there are Arabic, Amazighia and French. The majority of people speak Arabic, and the majority of those who speak Amazighia are able to understand Arabic. A Few of French is used in the daily life, but not all the people speak it, it's sorta the language used by cultivated people but not always. but the problem is that many of those who use French are considering it as an identity not an acquired language, and unfortunately many of them are taking over us !

actually,
i did not realize that algeria had that many languages.
i know that arabic is 1 of algeria's languages and that
french is another 1 because algeria was a french colony until 1962.
and i'm very interested in learning the arabic language.
so i hope i meet a lot of arabic speaking friends here.
