How many times to you wake up at night? Or do you sleep in one go?

I am maybe a little different here. I awake every two hours. If I go to sleep at eleven, I wake up at one, I fall asleep again and wake up at three, same at five, and at seven I get out. It may seem to you I have problems sleeping, but I do not see it myself as a problem. I awake, but fall asleep again after ten minutes. I am never really 'sleepless'. Am I an exception in this waking up very often? I think I am just an ultra light sleeper.

Thats crazy ! Only a loud alarm can wake me up. I have to keep the alarm away from my bed or else I might shut it off unconsciously (!) and go back to sleep. I've been thinking about getting that alarm with wheels where it starts beeping and runs away from you forcing you to chase it down.

There were some studies done to show that humans actually work best with 25 hour days and that if we did not have clocks or alarms we'd naturally go back to this model for a day. I like the idea of a 25 hour day

What I once read is that humans have sleep cycles off about two hours. Every two hours there is a period of light sleep, and deep sleep. I think every time at light sleep, I wake up. But I am not worried at all. I know I am going to fall asleep again in a few minutes anyway. So I go to the toilet and drink some water, let the cat in, and go back to bed. But I actually thought more people would have my sleeping habits? Nobody does?

Sometimes I wake up at night. Especially when I have problems in my mind or when I have a nightmare.
