There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief and unspeakable love..
Good words.
Beautiful! Is this your own writing? my compliments!
Hediye:
I think you are abslutely correct. Tears show a release of powerful feeling. It is not demonstrative of weakness, which is perhaps, an errant understanding. Perhaps in some circumstances, there have been historical prohibitions against crying, owing to other necessities; but without feeling, we lose our humanity.
Our awareness, of the feeling of other living things (especially people) and can acknowledge that the Suffering of all is like the suffering of ourselves, makes it possible for us to act with compassion.
I am reminded of the question posted in the discussion topic recently, asking if we would "laugh at" the mistake that a chat partner or student made. And indeed, in that most imperious of all human feelings, Love, there could be none, if two people could not "feel" what the other person felt.
. Good point.
Moms' tears are like that.
Well said Лекс!
