what is you angle?

What is the meaning of "what is your angle on it?"? Can I use it instead of "what is your opinion about that?"

Absolutely. You can also say "What's your take on it?" It essentially asks the same thing.

Thanks! I am a R&D manager in chemical company so, can I use this expression to ask an interpretation of a chemical or physical phenomenon? for a example during the presentation of a certain result?

Oops, I'm incoherent this morning. I meant to say, it doesn't just mean "Do you like it?" :(

Yes, you can use it to mean "What's your opinion on it?". However, it also has the meaning "What's your interpretation of it?".

So for example: If you are in a museum looking at a painting and someone says "What's your angle on it?", it doesn't just mean "Do you like you like it?", but more like "How are you interpreting/processing the meaning of the image that you are seeing?"
