do you need to live abroad to write as a native?

Well, people have told me I'm now "writing as a native". What does this mean? (After doing reading/writing for two every day and more to come). I have lots of writing and I have done a lot of reading. Of course, I want to learn more. :)

Yet an advanced student like myself said you need to live in Spain for 10+ years.

Opinions?

I don't think you need to live abroad to write like a native. I've met people here in italki who almost write without any mistakes but  I found that my speaking is better than them when we started to speak through Skype.

the people say you are "writing as a native" because your grammar is very good, I think the problem is talk  because "los regionalismos" are too difficult
