I think in the near future, people will have less free time. However, in the far future, people will probably have more free time. Because people need to work hard to improve their standard of living. After that, they will spend more time on leisure to take care of their mental lives.
I hope that western society will move towards a different conception of work and that people will be able to choose whether to work more or less hours a day/ week / month.
I used to work 40 hrs a week and decided to slow down and work 32 hrs weekly, now I can find the time to improve my English and dedicate my time to my real interests. The counterpart is that I earn less money but I came to the conclusion that time is way more important to me.
