Does amount matter?

Hello,  everybody! I'm just quorious whether an amount of the following/followers/friends indicates that a person really chat a lot or otherwise. Don't you think that the great amount of friends shows that to a person really difficult to find someone. I mean someone to practice with regularly. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your answers. I thought that people who have loads of  contacts just overloaded and I haven't sent them my follower request.

I think those who have many followers are member here for a long time and they commented many times in the discussion, answered question and correct notebook entry.

I agree with xarmania. Native English speakers often get a lot of follower requests, but don't necessarily interact regularly(or at all) with all of them.

Not necessarily. I have many followers. That simply means that I can ask questions and answer questions from many people. Some inquire daily while others only contact me when they require assistance. There are people I seek out for specific information. I even discuss grammar points with other native English speakers or ask them how they teach specific concepts.
