I have been studying Spanish watching Águila Roja and like it, it's a good TV show. Moreover, the brightest side of RTVE is that you are able to watch its programs and series on the website, without any passwords, logins and all that stuff. In the case of others important european languages, I wasn't able to find any well-done german TV series and good french shows usually aren't available through the official websites from abroad. So, to sum up, I think it's a great advantage of spanish TV programs.
