In the process of learning English, I ran into some problems. Because my major is physics, I can read and write some texts with lots of professional vocabularies, but when I talk with people, I cannot express my idea on daily topics. Dose someone meet this situation too?
Petrel:
There is a certain visceral quality to the English language that must be adopted if one is to speak English conversationally.
You can correct the difficulty by studying and learning some songs in English.
Many examples are in my Notebook Entries.
The difficult is specifically that your native language does not employ as much "feeling" as the English language does. The English language is more "aggressive". It is spoken with more feeling, rather than less feeling. By studying and practicing the lyrics of songs, you can invest your conversation with feeling and overcome your difficulty.
everyone has private time.( Many people say "No!" though.)lol
You study physics at school and I guess you have to do homework or something so
I can guess you can't spend a lot of time to practise dairy conversation.
But most of the students are same. You can make some time to practise speaking dairy
conversation. If you can't,it's just an excuse. Everyone is busy. :)
Good luck!!
