If you come to England, you need to go to "Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem", England's oldest pub. Its painted sign states that it was established in 1189 AD. (However, there is no documentation to verify this date). The fondation is really weird, like it's made of pressed sand. It definitly feels a thousand year old (I went there once).
