Martin is one of the best fantasy writers,  his long descriptions of people and buildings can be sometimes boring but generally he is genius. About  TV show  I don't understand why everyone are so excited about Tyrion. Ofcourse he is smart, has humour but his character was bleached and changed in cmoparison with books. In TV series they make Tyrion the one to be loved but additionally it's fake dwarf.

Yes, it's one of the best things i've ever read about fantasy in years. I like the way Mr. Martin wrote it, even if sometimes it's turn it boring, the history and the characters are very, very interesting and pretty well crafted. If you don't have read it yet, i don't know what are you waiting for.

I started reading them but just watch the TV show now.

Hang , I like Tyrion from show , but I deslike one from the book. Show-Tyrion is much better)
