I don't know if they're looking to help people, but I have found native speakers by doing a searcg for people from the Faroe Islands.  Right now you have to categorize Faroese under "other" if you put it in your languages at all.  But I've talked to someone at italki and it sounds like they're going to add Faroese as a language on here soon.  I'm learning also. :)
