You are a beginner for a new language,What should you learn certain skills first? Listening and speaking skills? In my country, Most people usually focus on grammar in learning English.
First, listening and speaking skills through the use of Nursery Rhymes, Songs, Children's Stories, and Short Speeches and brief essays.
Second, study of Grammar.
I hate learn english grammer,because I think it rigid on my English book. evrytime in English class,I will learn some words.Then, I went to do my thing. But I don't learn grammar my English score is so poorly.

I think grammar is the backbone of any language.. and of course, you can use a language not knowing good grammar but having a lot of practices. but eventually people call it a broken language.. hope this will help you & feel free anybody to correct me :) thanks
