how can I improve my listening and speaking in English? what would be your advice for improving listening and speaking? what is the difference between listening radio and watching a video on youtube? I can understand more or less those videos for learning English but not very much radio why?

The best way to practice speaking is to just speak, without worrying about any of the grammar. You will be understood by a native speaker, and it will help you learn to put words and phrases together. Also, whenever you learn new words and phrases, try and put them in your daily speech. Another thing my sister does is she will listen to music in English and translate it into American Sign Language while listening, which admittedly is a little different than from another language into English; however, it might be worth trying. Best of luck!

In my opinion, the best way is through practice! Ideally, speaking to a live person is the best because not only do you get the practice of listening to a native speaker, but she can answer any questions you have and correct your mistakes as well. Watching videos is a great way to practice too, and a good means of doing so is by watching videos/movies with subtitles. Try it both ways...having subtitles in Spanish so that you're hearing the English and pairing it with the Spanish that you're seeing, and also try switching the subtitles to English as well. Even when watching a video in English, sometimes it can be beneficial to have on English subtitles because your brain then gets the information in two different ways--through listening and through seeing---and this can help you remember better. People on the radio generally tend to talk faster than those on YouTube videos because they are limited in time, so perhaps that is why you are having more difficulty with radio? I hope this was helpful!
