A. This pattern is used for stating that S2 will be carried out in the case that S1 presumed by the speaker to happen takes place. S2 should be in a non-past tense form.

B. This pattern is used for stating that S2 will happen after S1 which will inevitably happen takes place.S2 should be in a non-past tense form.

B: コックになりたいです。
C. In the form 「interrogatives + Vたらいいですか」, this pattern is used when asking for advice.
【Example10】A: 迷子まいごになったときは、どうしたらいいですか。
B: 近ちかくの店みせの人ひとに道みちを聞きいてください。
【Example11】A: あのう、×○銀行ぎんこうへは、どうやって行いったらいいんでしょうか。
B: ここをまっすぐ行いって、次つぎの角かどを左ひだりに曲まがってください。
曲まがったら、すぐ右側みぎがわにありますよ。
【Example12】A: 中山なかやまさんにあげるプレゼントは、どこで買かったらいいと思おもいますか。

D. In the form of 「Vたらどうですか」, this pattern is used when giving advice or suggestions.

E. In the case of A, this can be used together with 「もし」.

F. This pattern shows that as a result of an event, something that was unexpected or was noticed occurs.S2 should be in the past form.
【Example13】図書館としょかんへ本ほんを返かえしに行いったら、休やすみでした。

A similar expression to 「interrogatives + Vたらいいですか」 as a way of asking for advise is 「Vたほうがいいですか」. 「Vたほうがいいですか」 is an expression which specifically shows that advice is being sought about something.
・In usage F, 「たら」 can be replaced with 「と(condition)」.
例: デパートヘ行いったら、休やすみでした。
デパートへ行いくと、休やすみでした。
