If it's な adj, you change な into だった（*でした）. So, it's going to be すき”だった”（←すきな）. You say すきだっただべものはバナナです。

Then, how do you say the food I did not like was apples?

Like い adj, you chnage い into かった if it's past tense. So it's going to be すきじゃなかった(←すきじゃない). You say　すきじゃなかったたべものはりんごです。
